Integrative Care for Optimal Wellness and Healing
I am a dedicated physician with a multifaceted background. As an anesthesiologist, chronic pain physician, spiritual seeker, father, and husband, I have gained valuable experiences and grown professionally and personally over the past four years. During this time, I operated a private solo practice where I served as the sole physician and practice owner. It was through my work as a chronic pain physician that I truly matured and discovered profound insights about myself and my unique approach to patient care.
Interacting with a diverse range of patients, I realized that many of them also struggled with significant mental health disorders and addictions. Recognizing the lack of mental health treatment options available to these individuals, I endeavored to adopt a holistic approach in my practice. This led to a transition from a pain-focused practice to a comprehensive, integrative mind-body biopsychosocial approach, rooted in holistic medicine.
Throughout my journey, I have developed deep expertise in the use of Ketamine as a treatment modality. My background as an anesthesiologist provided me with extensive experience in administering Ketamine in the operating room and as a pain management physician. However, in recent years, I have witnessed the transformative potential of Ketamine-assisted therapy in the realm of mental health disorders. This exciting development has ignited my passion, and I am dedicated to offering Ketamine-assisted treatment as a powerful tool to facilitate patients’ self-discovery and healing journeys.
Overall, I am a compassionate physician who believes in addressing the interconnected aspects of health and well-being. My experiences in chronic pain management and holistic integrative medicine have shaped me into a physician committed to providing comprehensive care to my patients, striving to improve their physical, mental, and spiritual health.
My mission as a doctor is to share the profound wisdom and joy I have gained through my personal and professional journey. At the core of my principles is understanding the mind-body relationship, an often overlooked aspect in modern medicine. By integrating traditional and contemporary approaches, I aim to help my patients heal through a journey of self-discovery and a deeper understanding of one’s consciousness.
Throughout my journey as a chronic pain physician, particularly in the past four years, I have witnessed the transformative power of this message. I want my patients to understand that in the darkest moments and toughest challenges, there is always a path toward true healing.
My approach to medicine and healing has evolved throughout my career, shaped by my experiences in obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesia training, and my fellowship in chronic pain and palliative care. At the core of my philosophy lies the concept of mind-body medicine, which is often overlooked in conventional medical education and practice. Our mental and physical well-being are intricately connected, and by integrating holistic approaches, we can help patients overcome dilapidating mental health disorders and achieve overall wellness.
In my own personal mental health journey and as a dedicated chronic pain physician, I have witnessed firsthand the profound interplay between mental and physical well-being. Recognizing the limitations of traditional treatments for mental health disorders, I have embarked on a quest to explore alternative modalities and fully embrace an integrative medicine approach. This comprehensive approach underscores the significance of overall health and wellness, incorporating practices like yoga, exercise, meditation, breathwork, and group therapy sessions. These group therapy sessions serve as an exceptional avenue to educate patients about the powerful tools available to us in a holistic approach. Through the power of shared experiences, vulnerability, and hearing others’ stories and healing journeys, patients can gain invaluable insights and embark on their own paths toward holistic healing.
